''Different'' is debut solo-album released in 1989 by Thomas Anders,〔 〕 who first attained success as the lead vocalist for Modern Talking in the mid-'80s. The album was recorded in London at Alan Parsons' studio and was produced by Gus Dudgeon (Elton John) & Alan Tarney (a-ha). It features a cover of Chris Rea's ''Fool (If You Think It's Over)''. It's an extravagant album, featuring a legion of songwriters and session musicians. The album boasted the hit ''Love Of My Own'' and became a big success for Anders. Other singles were ''Soldier'' and ''One Thing''.
